Do you think Roy Jones Jr. ducked Nigel Benn and Joe Calzaghe during his prime years?

Nigel Benn was offered a shot at Roy Jones Jr. and he declined. Joe Calzaghe on the other hand was never a relevant fighter during Roy Jones' prime. Granted, Calzaghe had a world title but it was at 168lbs when Jones' prime was at 175lbs . Joe also fought exclusively in Europe he actually when nine years before he even faced another fighter with a world title which leads me to believe his management had no interest in fighting Jones until he'd faded and Joe Calzaghe was favored to beat him.
