Can birth control pills make you feel like you are pregnant.?

i bearly started started taking birth control on Friday after a month that i didn't take them..now since yesterday ive benn feeling those kinda pregnancy symptoms..could it be because of the pills that im felling this..my mom has been asking me if im pregnant but iv been telling her that i feel like this because of the pills im i right..?
