They say every 35 seconds a man is abused by a woman, do you think this is true?

If so I so hope I can be one of those dudes. I know they are wrong and it's totally messed up that men hit women. I've never been in a relationship before ,but the thought of being in an abusive relationship interest me. They say most abusers have a honeymoon phase where they shower the abused with affection , so if I all I have to do is take some bumps and bruises now and then I think it would be worth it. Plus, the chances of them leaving me would go down as it would be difficult to find someone willing to take abuse. So what do you guys think of my logic?
