Singing teacher difficulties...........?

i have gone to a few voice teachers now and i am very frustrated with all of them. i know my voice, i know what kind of music i like and i know how i want to sing. i do not want to become an opera singer, nor a broadway star or a country star! i love alternative rock. i sing hard and loud with as much intensity as i can infuse, but i need to work on my head voice. i don't want to sound like a goat with to much vibrato and i don't want it to be quiet but every teacher i see tells me that my taste in music is bad, i need to go in a different direction. im to young and dumb to know what i want to sing, so they chose for me. i tried to show one voice teacher a million times a recording of how i want to be able to sing, a clip that in everyway shows what i want to do. but no, lets work on some italian crap! "oh you will like it when your older, your just in a phase let me teach you something useful!" i'm sick and tired of teachers not listening to me. i know what i want! if someone out there can tell me how to explain to a teacher that i don't care how "perfect" my voice is for something else and that i want to learn what i want please you would be a godsend!
